I put Vampiric Leech in defense mode, and place Drillago in attack mode! Drillago attacks and I end my turn.

[ "I'm not scared of a couple of face down cards" he says, canonically. ]

[she flips over... aussa the earth charmer! she also flips over the trap card, unpossessed.]

If I'm reading the effect right, you can't actually destroy this monster, right? Also, I think your Vampiric Leech is mine now?

[ He frowns, and actually has to get up to read the text since he doesn't use charmer cards. ]

That's right. Vampiric Leech is yours, and Aussa survives... Although you still take 100 points of damage.

[ He sits back down and slides Vampiric Leech to Lila's side of the field. ]

I play one card face down, and Newdoria in attack mode. Turn end.

Okay, so first I'm going to... [she flips over the card that was in face-down defense mode! hello, old vindictive magician.] ...get rid of that [she leans over and double-checks the name] Newdoria of yours.

And then I'm... sending Aussa and the Vampiric Leech to the graveyard so that I can special summon Familiar-Possessed - Aussa! In attack mode. Can I have her attack Drillago right away? Because I'd like for her to do that.

Yes... You can do that. [ Except Malik really doesn't sound happy about it, and he takes both Newdoria and Drillago off the field and places them in the Graveyard. Well. This wasn't supposed to fucking happen. ]
