Yeah, that. It's all make-up and special effects. Definitely not real.

It did... Look choppy. [ Despite being Nier's first movie. ] Do you have a favorite genre or film?

Hm...[thinking...] Action movies are pretty okay. I don't always watch horror movies but I'll watch them. [thinking...] I'm kind of open to anything, but I like the ones that're easy to watch.

[i.e. he does not like movies that make him have existential crisises from overthinking.]

Those sound good... Kind like adventure stories, right? [ Horror he understands the genre. ] Shouldn't all movies be easy to watch?

Yeah. Like adventure stories. [he will agree because it's close enough! nier did good there. but he shakes his head after that.] You would think they would be, but some people try to make movies that are thought-provoking or have hidden messages or whatever. Some of them are okay, but others are trying a little too hard.

I think I read some books like that. Some intrigue is okay and fun, but too much of it has me lost and I forget what's happening in the book.

See, you get it. [a proud nod like nier just said the smartest thing known to mankind.] If you're spending too much time giving people questions and not enough answers, you're just going to lose the point and make them mad.

[ Nier is stupid but he knows what they were initially talking about. Books are for him, a post-apocalyptic human being, not for a modern from a real city. ]

On Earth, things cost money. So if I paid to go see a movie in a theater I'll sit through it even if it's bad.

[he's not sure what to think of that, really, even though it's entirely true. he's been a leader for six years but maybe it's different here? he says none of that and instead smiles shortly. ]

I don't think I'd mind that. But you're right. People for the most part are nice. Not bad for a bunch of confused strangers. [one of them may murder again, but he does not say that.] School's a pretty big adjustment so...figured I'd ask.
