...what did you think about all of that at the end, with the geese? It was supposed to be a hint...

I don't know. People seemed to settle pretty firmly on the younger and older theory, but I wonder if we weren't onto something with who the geese liked, rather than hated. If they're like a damn hive mind, then one of them was losing its tiny goose mind in the library, but those two were super calm.

...but why the difference, I wonder? If they are a hive mind, and we were supposed to go by who they liked, wouldn't the one in the library also have been calm?

I don't know. But I do think it's weird two of them were that laid back when most of the time they're pissed at us for some reason -- and like you said, if Ichiro, Wang Lu and I all found a really pissed off one, why were the others so calm?

Unless, y'know. We're being too literal with the "hive-mind" aspect and they just pick up on what the majority like and dislike. Like... someone with a red jacket pisses off a couple of geese and now they all hate red jackets?

...I don't know. Maybe if we spend more time around the geese we can figure out a pattern.

But that would mean spending time around the geese, and I don't like them very much.

Maybe they’d be acclimatised to you by then and you’ll be amiable if not friends with them. And then they’d stop biting you.

Maybe, but how many times would I have to let them bite me before that happened? I'm not into getting bitten, thanks!

It's my legs they keep biting! That wouldn't help... Maybe I should ask for, like, really sturdy boots.

Those super goth looking platform ones that go up to your knees? Yeah. Protect the legs from the geese.

And you’d be a good…. what, four inches taller than then suddenly? You could just loom over them menacingly.

No idea if it’d work or not, but it’d feel powerful as heck.

Maybe it would intimidate them if I was that tall!

It's not been working out for me so far, but maybe it's all about the attitude.

The way you say that makes me think a scary face doesn't suit me.

Maybe it doesn't work when you announce it before it happens, rather than just going with the anger flow.
