Huh... I guess I kinda took taking what they know like for granted.

What kind of pictures did the books have?

Hmm... It depends on the book. Some cookbooks I saw had photos in them, but the colors are washed out. There are some books about animals and flora that have pictures, but they're more like drawings.

There's probably more. Not like I read all the books in my village's library.

I see... well, schools usually have libraries, so maybe once some of the construction is done you'll get to see even more books!

My sister and I enjoy fantasy a lot. Stuff with castles and dragons.

Yeah, like fairytales... Usually, those don't have bad endings, though I remember some of them being unsettling.

Sleeping Beauty is one of them.

It's because of a curse - but she wakes up thanks to true love's kiss. It's pretty romantic!

... But if you sleep for a hundred years, everyone you loved and knew would...

There are some versions of the story where everyone in her kingdom fell asleep, too. So she wasn't alone when she woke up.

Yeah, fortunately... She's kind of silly. Gets sad over the smallest things like a tree being alone.
