My sister and I enjoy fantasy a lot. Stuff with castles and dragons.

Yeah, like fairytales... Usually, those don't have bad endings, though I remember some of them being unsettling.

Sleeping Beauty is one of them.

It's because of a curse - but she wakes up thanks to true love's kiss. It's pretty romantic!

... But if you sleep for a hundred years, everyone you loved and knew would...

There are some versions of the story where everyone in her kingdom fell asleep, too. So she wasn't alone when she woke up.
