No need to worry about such things here, however... As long as we get these tasks completed, regardless of how simple they seem, that just brings us one step closer to winning. For being a "dorm war" they don't seem to care much about competition.

Nothing about this place seems particularly well-organized. They may rely on self-reporting to figure out who is playing and who is following the rules.
I think that's something worth looking into. Otherwise that's a rather large exploit that they've left for us... Part of me wants to believe they aren't that stupid, but who knows? Maybe they are.
I guess there's only one way to find out. But, like, I already did the task by asking you that question, so I guess I can't be the one to find out this week.
In the future it might be worth testing to see if they pay attention. I haven't asked a question, even though I received one... perhaps that means it will affect me differently.
