Kinda like that! Chat Noir's power is, like, destruction? So he's the muscle of the group. Carapace's is protection, so he can make shields for people. Stuff like that.

It's all about how you use it! To free the people who have been corrupted by Hawkmoth, you have to destroy the item their akuma is hiding in.

So... what happens is... this 'Hawkmoth' sends out butterflies - akuma - to corrupt people into doing evil, and they do so by merging with an item that person has? And the only way to restore them is to break that item?
