[she digs into her backpack, pulls a piece of paper out of her notebook, and crumples it up into a ball.]

My world is shaped like this. There are landmasses in some parts of it... [she taps various parts of the ball to indicate what should be continents] But the rest of it is ocean. So it feels like it goes on forever, but it doesn't, really.

[He scowls at it, because that is just... not how his world works?]

[He'll draw his one continent if she does.]

[she guesses he doesn't have his notebook with him? she'll pull a page out and hand it over to him.]

[He will pull out a pen and draw. It's a diamond like shape in the middle of it, and everything else is just water.]

Nobody's ever made it to the end of the ocean.

Shouldn't there be an end? Some point where it drops off or somethin'?

I don't know, that sounds dangerous... what happens if you fall off the edge?

Nobody's fallen off, they just haven't found the end.

Missions, stuff that pops up because of the Great Calamity, fightin' the moon.

Once a year the moon tries to destroy the world. The Sage's wizards are tasked with fightin' it off.
