We... tried to come to a consensus based on who we thought might - understand more than the others.

If this is really about saving people, there's a whole bunch of people who would want to help.

...We'd been told that if we told anyone, or hinted anything, or even if someone else found out and told others - the world itself might strike back somehow, and it could risk everyone. I wanted to tell everyone, or to find another way, but...

We could only tell the people we were about to kill, because the world wouldn't have time to strike back, given how soon afterwards they would be... you know.

Well - a while ago, Viola had a piece of information about this place that she sold to Crow for a few vouchers. If everyone who's still alive got that kind of offer, maybe there's a chance we will, too? Have you been able to talk to any of the dorm heads while we've been here?

Maybe, but it doesn't really seem like there's any ways for us to earn vouchers... I did plenty when I was alive that should've earned me some, but I didn't get any when I woke up here.

[she shrugs.]

...we tried contacting the living from our phones and it just bounced back. I dunno if Lan Wangji tried to message a dorm head though...

Wait, so - extra credit or tasks aren't a thing here? I mean, I guess we wouldn't need healing items or anything here... Nobody has a reason to hurt each other anymore.

[he frowns at the part about the dorm heads, though.]

I haven't tried to do my extra credit, but we aren't doing any Dorm Wars tasks here.

[some of them were just impossible this week, anyway! you can't go anywhere with someone when you're stuck in a single room...]

Last week, I got a coupon for participating in the debate club on Friday, but even though we did an assignment this past Wednesday - the bear had us do art - we haven't seen anything yet. It just said it would probably be of great help if we did.

So... I think things are probably different here.

So... If he said there's something we could do that would be of great help, it's just a matter of figuring out all the other ways that we can help from where we are. Maybe someone could try to do extra credit and see if it gets us anything?

Maybe. It might be easier said than done in some cases.

[for example - there are so few of them! she can hardly ask rupert for help with her extra credit, now, because it'll be way too obvious and it won't count.]

The worst that can happen is... nothing happens. So I guess it can't hurt to try.
